so, this time i tried some double exposures on film with my canon f1. since the shutter on this camera cannot be released several times - like with the walzflex - this meant that i first had to expose the whole film once, wind it back, and then do the second exposure.

in order for this to work, i marked the position at the beginning when inserting the film, so that i could start again at the same position for the second exposure, hoping that the shots are then really on top of one another.
i chose ilford's hp5+ as a film. with an iso of 400, that meant that since there were two exposures on top of each other, i measured for an iso of 800 in both exposures.
for the first exposure, i chose different patterns like stones, bark, grass, leaves, etc. - i didn't write down which image had what pattern, which meant that for the second exposure - the portraits - i had no idea what had been exposed before. i definitely wanted the surprise effect.
and after developing, here are some of the results:
so, what do you think? for my first attempt in double exposures with a 35mm format camera i am quite happy!
